HydraPlus™ Complete Water Softener Systems
Resin Options:| Purolite C100E - 8% Crosslinked This is our most popular and affordable option, but don't let its economical price fool you! Made in North America, C100E is regarded for its value and performance. It is ideal for well water applications where iron and manganese levels are relatively low, or typical chlorinated city water supplies.

| Purolite C100X10 - 10% Crosslinked C100X10's higher level of cross-linking creates a resin that is more durable and resistant to oxidation damage. Recommended for city water applications where higher levels of chlorine or chloramine are used for disinfection, or well water applications where users are seeking the longest possible media life. A longer resin life translates into lower maintenance costs.

| Purolite C100EFM - Fine Mesh Fine mesh resins are well known and respected for their improved resistance to iron and manganese fouling, thereby making them appropriate to treat higher levels of these contaminants than standard resins. The smaller resin bead size can increase pressure loss, but results in very rapid ion exchange, thereby improving performance at higher flow rates.

| Purolite SSTC6000E - Shallow Shell Technoloogy SSTC6000E is very likely the best softening resin available on the market today, offering higher salt efficiency, very low hardness leakage, superior regeneration efficiency, long service life and low cost of ownership, and outstanding iron and manganese resistance. SSTC6000E is highly recommended for more demanding softening applications (hardness > 25 GPG) and/or where concurrent removal of relatively high levels of iron and/or manganese is desired.

| Ecomix-P Ecomix-P combines several layers of media into one bed to treat hardness, iron and manganese simultaneously. In addition to cation resin, Ecomix-P contains a unique media called Ferrosorb which gives it impressive capacity for iron and manganese reduction while protecting the cation resin layer from fouling. Recommended for softening applications where concurrent removal of relatively high levels of iron and manganese is desired.

| Ecomix-C Ecomix-C is similar to Ecomix-P but contains an additional media called Humisorb which is designed to remove low levels of natural organics including tannins and TOC. It can be used to treat hardness, iron, manganese, and organics simultaneously. In cases where such organics are present in nuisance, but not necessarily high levels, an Ecomic-C media softener may replace a traditional water softener and tannin filter with a single solution. Max Tannin 0.5 mg/l (ppm). Max. Total Organic Carbon 5 mg/l (ppm).

* Treatment of hardness levels exceeding this level is possible, however, significantly greater salt efficiency can be achieved by selecting a twin-alternating model and is therefore recommended.
